Frequently Asked Questions
Do I really need a website?
In today’s era of technology, every business should have a website. A website is now equivalent to a listing in the yellow pages of the phone book. This website can be as simple as providing your name, contact information, driving directions, hours and a brief overview or as complicated as you desire - but a basic web presence is vital to compete in today’s business environment.

How do I select a good web designer or web design company?
Finding the right person for your business or organization requires you first know your goals so you can find someone who fits.
A local web designer may relieve some communication issues.
Always check their references.
Shop around, ask around.
Consider ”search engine optimization” as a primary goal along with design, cost, usability, etc.

How much will a website cost?
Websites range drastically in cost based on who creates your site and what your site includes. Our basic website start at about $600 and average $900, while e-commerce sites start at $1200 and average about $1600.
Other web design firms may be able to provide the same type of site for as low as $150 or as high as, well as high as you can write a number in your check book. Of course the same type of site does not equal the same quality of site. Don’t let cost rule your decision.

Should I hire a professional to create my website? My cousin said he could do it for free!
Most likely. Everyone either knows someone who dabbles in web design or knows enough themselves to get in trouble. There are many elements to creating a ”good” website and not all website are created equal. Hiring a professional web designer will likely save you time and money in the long run. More than half of our clients are asking us to redo or fix a site ”their cousin” made. (Cousin refers to any friend or family member who is not a professional web designer.)
